TEXT: HEB 11 VS 3, GEN 1 VS 2-3, JOHN 6:63
In the beginning God through his words of command brought things that be not into existence. The raw materials for the creation in Genesis was words spoken in authority, purpose and good desire, hence Words are powerful tools in the hands of Divinity and humanity. If you wish to achieve great things in life you must engage your word system to affect your world system positively.
A Word is a vehicle that carries blessings, curses, deliverance, bondage, control, command. However, it is of great importance to know that blessings are transferred, conferred, released by word likewise curses. Gen 49:1-12 shows us how a man called Jacob determined the destiny of his children through words. Then Jacob called together all his sons and said, “Gather around me, and I will tell you what is going to happen to you in the days to come”.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Words are spirit and life, he who understands this will speak carefully, more positively and more wisely. Jesus knew about this and informed the people that these words of mine has the ability to quicken a dead thing back to life. No matter how deadly the situation you find yourself is all you have to do is speak life, speak the word of God, speak positively surely that which you desire will be birthed.
Note: Anyone that speaks over your life is in control of you. In numbers 22 a king employed the services of a prophet to curse Israel. He knew he cannot win them in a physical combat therefore he decided to engage them in the battle of words by cursing them. Balaam didn’t come with an army but he came with his mouth. There are many who have been cursed by strange and wicked men and this has cursed stagnation and failure in their lives. I pray the lord deliver you in Jesus name. amen.
Be sensitive in rejecting any negative word thrown at you. Don’t be silent about it, reverse it immediately because the devil will always want to effect those negative words spoken about you.
Watch your words, use your words rightly, think before you speak your words are powerful.
PRAYER
Oh lord thank you for your word
Father help me to use my words rightly
Lord, may my words work wonders to your glory
I cancel every evil word spoken against in Jesus name. amen.
